Orange Motorsports and Entertainment (OME) is back for the Summer of 2021 with a robust lineup of concerts, hosted at Middletown NY’s Orange County Fair Speedway (OCFS). KW Speed was the first to bring shine flavors to life under the moonlit sky of the Appalachian Region. Long before the new wave of "city boy moonshine" companies started popping up catering to tourists and outsiders KW was on the move and running his shine to those who wanted to the best authentic flavor you can get.
It all started with KW's Rootbeer Shine, the legend grew from there.
Since the early weeks of the 2021 racing season, drivers with limited racing experience have gotten their proverbial feet wet by competing against each other in the Precision Hydraulic & Oil Rookie Sportsman division. This week, following their feature race, the Rookie Sportsman drivers will graduate into the Arkel Motors Sportsman ranks. Going into their final night racing each other, Dylan Madsen and Michael Giuliano lead this talented group of racing youngsters in Rookie points.

The rumble of the United Rentals Big-Block DIRTcar Modifieds will echo through Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, New York on Thursday evening June 17 with the return of the “Revenge 50,” a 50-lap, $5,000-to-win romp around the historic five-eighths-mile clay speedway. Thanks to Rob Sherlock Roofing, of Wurtsboro, New York, drivers finishing positions 4-6 in their heats will race in a special Rob Sherlock’s Working Man’s Dash for Cash. The 2021 season at Orange County Fair Speedway is a return to form for the over 100-year-old racetrack, but it’s also the introduction, or reintroduction of many new events. Perhaps the most exciting reintroduction in 2021, will be the return of the World of Outlaws Late Models! Thursday August 19th, the Late Models, the fastest wingless cars to race on dirt, will roll into the pits at OCFS, to put on a show that race fans haven’t seen in over a decade in Middletown, NY.
Annually, it’s among the most anticipated evenings of the racing season. Set for Saturday, June 12, Orange County Fair Speedway celebrates its racing heroes of yesteryear on “Nostalgia Night.” Several dozen former drivers, team owners, and officials are expected to be on hand ready to greet the fans, pose for pictures, and sign autographs. In addition, keeping with the theme of remembrance, there’ll be a display of vintage race cars, several of which turned laps on Orange County’s historic five-eighths-mile clay track.
Sportsman Triple Crown headlines the racing program
Following the Memorial Holiday Weekend, Orange County Fair Speedway returns to action on Saturday, June 5 with the Sportsman Triple Crown. The evening of racing action culminates with three 20-lap features races for the Arkel Motors Sportsman division. Also on the program will be the Precision Hydraulic & Oil Rookie Sportsman and the NAPA Northeast Parts Group Street Stocks. Wolfe Country 97.7, 97.3, 105.5 FM as well as Arkel Motors are the evening’s sponsors.
In what was possibly one of the nicest days of 2021, the racing was hot on the 5/8th mile Legendary House Of Power Thursday evening. 30 plus United Rentals DIRTcar Modifieds entered for a $6,000 pay day, and a chance to get closer to the $25,000 Championship. Along with the United Rentals DIRTcar Modifieds, the Precision Hydraulic & Oil Rookie Sportsman and spectator races filled out the card. The event on hand was the first one of many Thursday night specials this season, known as the “Twin”tyfive-75. Two 25 lap feature events and a B-Main set the starting grid for the 75 lap Main event for the DIRTcar Modifieds.
The event's format will see three (3) 20-lap features for the sportsman, each will pay FULL PURSE and be worth FULL POINTS towards the Arkel Motors Sportsman Championship. The first 20-lap feature will work like any typical Saturday night feature, drivers will run heats and be handicapped as usual. The second feature will see feature no.1's winner draw a random number of 10 through 16 to determine an invert on feature no.1's finish to line up that event. The third feature will have no.2's winner draw again numbers 10 through 16 to line up the last feature of the night.
