Race Day Policies
Before attending a Stock Car race at Orange County Fair Speedway, please review the following policies to help ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests.
Grandstand Gate
Unlike many professional venues, Orange County Fair Speedway allows guests to bring their own food and beverages for our Stock Car racing events. We want you to be comfortable and enjoy your time in the grandstands.
Please Note: Coolers are permitted for Stock Car Racing events only. For select events, coolers are strictly prohibited.
Grandstand Seating
For most events, seating is general admission. Stadium style chair back cushioned seats may be used provided they do not interfere with access to other seats or are not an inconvenience for other patrons. Lawn chairs are not permitted in the grandstand.
ATM
We have an ATM available inside the main concession building.
Animal Policy
Dogs are permitted in the Drive-In and Pit areas only but must remain on a leash at all times. Dogs are not permitted in the Grandstand. Service dogs may be allowed in the Grandstand only with proper documentation and prior approval from track management.
On-Site Camping
For most events, camping is permitted at no charge on the fairgrounds and drive-in area (For select events, a camping fee maybe required). All camping is dry, with no water, sewer or electric available. Fans are asked to please clean up their area before they depart.
Motorized Vehicles
For most events, motorized vehicles such as ATV’s, Minibikes, side-by-sides and golf carts are not permitted.
First Aid
Paramedics are on-site for all events and are located between the main grandstand and the 1st turn bleachers.
Conduct Policy
• Disorderly Conduct: Guests who fail to follow the policies set forth by the Speedway Management and enforced by its staff or those who violate any local, state and/or federal law will be subject to ejection from the facility.
• Ejection from the Speedway: Disruptive or problematic guests should be reported to event staff immediately. Guests asked to vacate the speedway may be escorted from the premises by event staff, security, facility management or local law enforcement.
• Firearms/Weapons possession is prohibited
• Intoxicated Guests are not admitted into the Speedway at any time. Intoxicated guests are subject to removal from Speedway property.
Parking
For most events, parking is free on the fairgrounds. For select events, a parking fee may be required.
Pit Passes
Anyone, of any age, may purchase a pit pass and visit the pit area. The price for a pit pass is the same for any age (most events $35). A “Minor’s Release” form must be completed for those under the age of 18 by a parent or legal guardian. The pits are free to enter at the completion of racing each race night. Minor’s release forms may be downloaded and printed of the website or obtained at the pit pass booth. Once completed, a Minor’s Release will be valid for the remainder of the season.
FACILITY POLICIES
Please note that the following activities are not permitted on Orange County Fair Speedway grounds, unless previously approved by the Speedway:
- Solicitation for donations
- Unauthorized sale or purchase of tickets
- Selling of merchandise or services
- Distribution of any item
- Golf carts
- Unauthorized entertaining
- Drones are not authorized on Orange County Fair Speedway property
Fans load into the half covered grandstand on the Speedway's front stretch.
Fans and drivers alike congregate at the 31st Lap Tavern, the Speedway's historic, on-site bar!
Grab a Middletown, NY favorite, the Sausage and pepper Sandwich, at Maxwell's Concessions
Keep the kids entertained through stoppages and race delays at the "Kids Pit" Playground!
Tailgating strongly encouraged!
