JULY 10 ALL FOUR RACING DIVISIONS IN EXCITING SPEEDWAY ACTION
For one of the few times this season, all four racing divisions will be competing on Saturday, July 10 at Orange County Fair Speedway, the historic five-eighths-mile clay track in Middletown, New York. But it’s especially important for the United Rentals DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds, as the top-eight drivers will be locked in to the chase for the track championship and its $25,000 top prize.
Presented by Crackers Motorsports Marketing and Valpak of Mid-Hudson Valley, the earthshaking Big-Block Modifieds will race in qualifying events leading to their 30-lap feature. At its conclusion, winning drivers from this season’s previous races, plus those that have scored the most points will make up the eight who will battle over the next month and a half to determine the track championship.
Already locked in by virtue of 2021 victories are Matt Sheppard, Tommy Meier, and Stewart Friesen.
That’s not all. The H.O. Penn Cat Small-Block Modifieds, the Arkel Motors Sportsman, and the NAPA Northeast Parts Group Street Stocks will also be in action with qualifying races to set the fields for their feature races---25 laps for the Small-Block Modifieds, 20 laps for the Sportsman, and 15 lap for the Street Stocks.
KIDS CLUB BULLETIN: It’s Bike Night for the Orange County Kids Club with more than 25 bikes to be given away. And on stage, it will be the “Little Miss OCFS” contest. So kids, be sure check in at the Kids Club table in the midway area when you arrive at the speedway.
The Orange County Fair Speedway stands and Drive-In are fully open. General admission either for the stands or the Drive-In is $20 adult, $16 seniors, and free for children 12 and under. As a convenience for fans, guaranteed parking spaces in Rows D, E, and F of the Drive-In may be reserved for $15. Unsold spaces in these rows will be available at the gate on race day. The Party Deck is available at $35 per person, minimum two, maximum four per table. In the Drive-In, announcements and race calls are heard over FM 107.7.
