On April 21, in the only completed weekly program this season, veteran driver Anthony Perrego, the 2017 Small-Block Modified champion, took top honors in the Big-Block 30-lap feature race.  Other feature race winners that evening included Sportsman victor Jesse Leiby, the defending champion, Rookie Sportsman winner Bob Jashembowski, and Street Stock victor Joel Murns Jr. All will be looking to become repeat winners this Saturday at Orange County. They’ll be joined by some 100 other competitors aiming for Victory Lane laurels. The CRSA Sprint Cars were scheduled to open their season last week at Fonda Speedway, but their race meet was canceled by inclement weather.

The CRSA Sprint Cars will appear at Orange County on four nights in 2018. Among the CSRA drivers familiar to local fans include Scott Goodrich, Tyler Jashembowski, Christian Rumsey, and Emily VanInwegen. All have competed on the Middletown Hard Clay in other racing divisions.
