The AKBF Fight League is bringing a night of thrilling Mixed Martial Arts and Thai Kickboxing to Middletown, NY’s Orange County Fairgrounds.  The historic fairgrounds facility located in the heart of the Town of Wallkill has played host to dirt track racing for nearly 100 years.  Now under the management of “Orange Motorsports and Entertainment” (OME), the facility is seeing a revival with the return of regular live events with amateur MMA coming to it’s arena building.

Saturday, November 17th, local fighters will take to the cage for the AKBF title.  Josh Bonneau of Middletown’s Thaishodo Fight Club will face off against Joe Parker of Dover Plains, NY.  The heavyweight fighters are scheduled to weigh in the night before, Friday, November 16th, at Buffalo Wild Wings of Middletown, located on rt. 211.

The night’s undercard will feature a Middleweight slugfest between Colin O’Connor and Mike James.  Another 170 lb. matchup is also scheduled between Brandon Muhammad from the “Precision MMA Gym” of Poughkeepsie and Phillip Nathaniel Herrara, as well as many more fights.

AKBF fight night promises to be an exciting new addition to OME’s entertainment lineup for the winter season.  Absolutely Automotive, Total Comfort HVAC, The Switch Inn, O’Connors Pub and Buffalo Wild Wings present this inaugural event.  Doors open at 6PM with the first bout starting around 7PM at the Orange County Fairgrounds Arena Building.
