Race No. 9 of the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series Fueled By Sunoco Halmar International North Region – CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS Weights: Big-Block (364 cubic inches and up) – minimum 2,500 lbs. Small-Block (maximum 363 cubic inches – 370 c.i. post-race tolerance) – minimum 2,400 lbs. Spec-Head Small-Block (OCFS/Leb. Val./PA-NJ-legal) or CT 525 – minimum 2,350 lbs. Unaltered W-16: 2,300 lbs. *No all-aluminum ‘built’ small-blocks or ‘small-block engines’ over 450 cubic inches. 

*All weights are track-scale pounds; weights are taken post-race, with the driver in the car

Note: Teams may qualify on Hoosier tires (D400 or harder) but will need at least three American Racer tires on (right-front, left-rear & right-rear) to start the feature event. 

Body Rules: Sail panels are permitted for all weight classifications. Sail panels must be no taller than 65 inches when measured from the ground. Sail panels mirror each other in size and shape side-for-side. The must extend no further forward than the rear of the driver’s seat and no further back than the end of the quarter-panel. Angled spoiler is permitted on the rear of the roof: no taller than four inches. 

All other Short Track Super Series Fueled By Sunoco body rules will be in effect at this event. Visit the series 2018 Rules & Procedures posted on the series website for details. 

Qualifying: Heat-race lineups will be determined via a draw for position at the pre-race drivers’ meeting. Top qualifiers will transfer to the redraw; other remaining qualifiers go to the main event. Consolations, with top finishers transferring, will set the remainder of the 28-car starting field. Heats and consolations are 8 laps in distance. Two series provisionals from STSS North Region point standings will start 29th and 30th.

Transponders are required at this event. One-way radios are mandatory. The frequency is 454.000. 

360 Sprint Cars – 25 laps*, $3,000 to win, $400 for 10th, $300 to take the green *All green-flag laps 

General Rules: ESS/PST/URC rules apply for 360 Sprint Cars 

Weight: 1,475 lbs., post-race, with driver in car *All weights are track scale pounds 

Tire Options: Right-Rear: RD 15 or HTC/H15/D20/RD20/D25 Left-Rear: H12/RD12/H15 Fronts: Any Hoosier tire 

Qualifying: Drivers will draw for ‘heat-race groups’ upon arrival to the speedway. Drivers will hot lap in heat-race groups for timed hot laps. An invert of ‘3’ will be utilized to set heat-race lineups (8 laps). The top-three finishers from each of the heat races will redraw. The remainder of the 24-car starting field will be set by heat-race finishes and a B-Main (8 laps). 

Transponders are required at this event. One-way radios are mandatory. The frequency is 454.000.
